Our CITs are kids going into 8th and 9th grade. CIT stands for Counselor In Training. In the CIT program, your camper will…

• Participate throughout the day in our specially designed CIT program and activities, fun and appropriate for teenagers.
• Have the opportunity to assist counselors while working with younger children or at an activity
• Go on fun trips throughout the summer.

Super CITs

Our Super CITs are kids going into 10th grade. The Super CIT program is the final counselor in training year and our Super CITS experience both more freedom and more responsibility. In the Super CIT program, your camper will…

• Learn how to assist counselors while working with younger children, with greater emphasis on transitioning from being a camper to being a future member of Briarwood’s staff.
• Participate in our specially designed program in the afternoon.
• Go on bigger and more involved Super CIT-exclusive day trips throughout the summer.
• Go on longer optional overnight trips.
• Increased participation in Briarwood special events.
